G64 Ventures is a holding company that operates outstanding small businesses and invests in visionary independent sponsors.

We love to back scrappy self-funded searchers and independent sponsors looking to buy businesses using traditional (SBA) and non-traditional (mezz funds, private debt, seller financing) leverage.

We prefer to write $250,000-$500,000 equity checks and play an ongoing role in supporting the sponsor and investor group. Generally, but not always, that involves a board seat and some help constructing the deal between the sponsor and investors. We believe that a well constructed deal creates spectacular alignment between sponsors and investors.

We have a network of co-investors that can help us fill out an entire equity interest, and we like to invest with friends whenever possible.

Our typical investments are to acquire businesses with $1m-2m in EBITDA, but we also have a particular risk tolerance for investments with the following criteria:

• $250k-$1m in EBITDA

• Less than 5 employees

• High contribution margin, low churn, recurring revenue (software or non-software)
